'Full House' actress Han Da Gam welcomes first child at 46
Korean actress Han Da Gam has welcomed her first child at age 46.
The actress announced the birth of her baby boy on Instagram on Monday, Sept. 28, sharing photos of his tiny feet.
“Chal-tteok was finally born healthy into the world. Thank you so much for your congratulations,” her post translated from Korean to English read. “I'm also recovering well and getting healthy.”
Han expressed her gratitude to the people who supported her throughout her pregnancy.
“The time when many people cheered and encouraged me has passed like a horse race, and I feel so much stronger,” she wrote. “I'm really grateful to those who sent me many congratulations and messages of encouragement.”
The actress also reflected on the difficult moments she experienced during her pregnancy, saying that seeing her newborn's face helped her realize that they were all worth it.
“It wasn't just a few days, but seeing Chal-tteok's face, I think I've overcome the moments when I wanted to give up during the time I was taking care of him,” she wrote. “I'll take good care of him and make him healthy. It's a heartwarming moment to feel the preciousness of a new life again. ”
Han Da Gam, formerly known as Han Eun-jung, made her acting debut in 1999 and rose to wider recognition through dramas like Full House, Cinderella Man, Gumiho: The Tale of the Fox's Child, and Golden Cross. She later appeared in Graceful Friends and Durian's Affair.
She tied the knot with her businessman husband in 2020 and announced her pregnancy in early 2026, six years into their marriage.
