Selena Gomez shares ‘relationship musts’ amid Benny Blanco romance
The heart wants what it wants.
Selena Gomez bared what she wants in a relationship after hard launching her romance with music producer Benny Blanco.
In an interview with Vogue México y Latinoamérica, Gomez said that her top priority for a partner is self-respect and holding space for the feelings of others.
“Honestly, I have to start being attracted to the right kind of people, because it’s a bit of both,” she said in the interview translated from Spanish to English.
“It’s very hard to find someone who can listen to you and care about you, but I know when to happens it will be great and you will want to be healthy."
The 31-year-old actress previously had high-profile relationships with Justin Bieber and The Weeknd, something that she said she didn’t regret.
“I firmly believe that everything in my life happens for a reason. I want to experience what it’s like to get through those moments that are really difficult,” Gomez continued.
Back in 2019, Blanco and Gomez worked together on her single “I Can’t Get Enough,” and went in public as a pair for her “Come and Get It” hitmaker being used in the social media.
While Gomez only went IG official with Blanco earlier in December, the two have actually been dating for six months now.
On Dec. 7, the Wizards of Waverly Place alum posted an IG story of a ring on her left ring finger with a “B” initial on it. She also commented on a fan account’s post calling Blanco her “absolute everything” in her heart.
