Kim Molina reveals Jerald Napoles made her engagement ring, had it for over a year before proposal
Jerald Napoles made an engagement ring by himself and kept it for more than a year before he finally popped the question to Kim Molina.
A week after announcing their engagement, the singer-actress thanked her longtime partner for his love as she revealed that her ring was personally made by him.
“Just when I thought the surprise ended there, days after the proposal I found out he even made the ring himself,” Kim wrote. “[Jerald,] you are a dream, my love. Thank you.”
Jerald also shared behind-the-scenes preparations for his grand proposal in an Instagram reel, revealing that he attempted to propose multiple times to Kim since last year.
In March 2023, he met with the jewelry brand, Radiant Lux Jewelry, to plan the ring's design before finally making it in June. In the video, Jerald was seen melting and shaping the gold while being assisted by the staff.
One of his attempts to pop the question was during a Coldplay concert in Thailand that they attended in February 2024. But it didn’t push through since Kim was not feeling well at the time.
In August 2024, Jerald met with event organizers to plan the proposal at PETA Theater Center, a special place where they first met and worked together as theater actors before entering the showbiz industry. It turned out successful.
Jerald also shared a snippet of his conversation with Kim’s parents where he asked for their blessing before finally making the grand proposal on Aug. 11.

"Iba ka talaga bro! Kasalukuyan na ngang tinatahi ni [Jerald] 'yung wedding gown ni [Kim] at this very moment," Joross Gamboa quipped.
"I’m still cryiiiingggg. [A]lways been a fan of you both. [So] so happy sa inyo, Kuya Je and Ate Kim," an Instagram user wrote.
"Iba ka! Mabuhay kayong dalawa at magmahalan ng [habang] buhay!" actor Benj Manalo also commented.
Kim and Jerald are set to tie the knot after being together for a decade. Apart from their individual projects, the two have also worked on movies together including Ikaw At Ako At Ang Ending, Girlfriend na Pwede Na, and Ang Babaeng Walang Pakiramdam.
