EXO’s D.O., Lee Se-hee confirmed to star in upcoming K-drama ‘Prosecutor Jin’s Victory’
It looks like we have another potential K-drama pairing to root for.
Do Kyung-soo or EXO’s D.O. and up-and-coming actress Lee Se-hee have been cast as the lead stars of the upcoming legal series Prosecutor Jin’s Victory. Per The Korea Times, the K-drama revolves around an ill-mannered prosecutor named Jin Jung who uses “illegitimate ways to put corrupted powers to justice.”
Kyung-soo will be taking on the titular role of Jin Jung, while Se-hee will portray fellow prosecutor Shin Ah-ra who’s known for being cool-headed and professional.
Despite being polar opposites, Ah-ra always takes care and looks out for Jung.
Prosecutor Jin’s Victory will be directed by Kim Sung-ho, who’s known for his directorial work in the Netflix series Move To Heaven starring Lee Je-hoon and Tang Joon-sang. Meanwhile, the series will be written by screenwriter Im Young-bin.
Kyung-soo debuted as the main vocalist of South Korean-Chinese boy group EXO in 2012. He made his acting debut with a supporting role in the film Cart in September 2014. Since then, he made a name for himself as an actor by appearing in K-dramas It’s Okay, That’s Love, Hello Monster, and 100 Days My Prince.
The idol-actor is set to star in the films The Moon and Secret which are scheduled for a 2022 release.
Meanwhile, Se-hee debuted as an actress in the 2017 film Midnight Runners. Some of her notable appearances include My Roommate is a Gumiho, Hospital Playlist 2, and Young Lady and Gentleman.
