Sad news, BLINKs! BLACKPINK's Jennie has declined the offer to star on the new variety show My Name is Gabriel with K-drama heartthrobs Ji Chang Wook and Park Bo Gum.

Citing sources from TV network JTBC and Jennie's agency, Korean entertainment site Soompi said that the K-pop idol would not appear in the upcoming series as the latter does not plan to appear on variety shows for now.

"[Jennie] received an offer but declined it. She does not plan on appearing on variety shows for the time being," the agency said in a statement.

Earlier this month, a representative of the TV network confirmed in a statement that Ji Chang Wook and Park Bo Gum will be part of its new offering alongside other much-loved Korean entertainers.

"Actors Yeom Hye Ran, Ji Chang Wook, and Park Bo Gum, along with entertainers Park Myung Soo and Hong Jin Kyung, will star in PD Kim Tae Ho's new variety show My Name is Gabriel," the statement read.

My Name is Gabriel will be produced and directed by South Korean television director Kim Tae Ho, who is best known for creating and producing the popular variety program Infinite Challenge.

According to Soompi, the new variety show will "involve the cast experiencing the lives of others abroad."

The show is scheduled to premiere in June.
