On her social media pages, the veteran actress and talent manager posted a picture taken during a family gathering, accompanying it with a lengthy statement about the "fake news" circulating on social media in line with the issue.
Lahat ng lumabas sa social media is all fake news. 'Wag niyo nang dagdagan ang mga maling balita, malalaman nyo rin ang katotohanan in due time," Annabelle wrote, pertaining to social media users who alleged she was the one who caused the breakup.
Or ang mag-ina?" she added.
Annabelle urged the public to stop criticizing her as she's just as shocked and confused about how everything happened so fast.
Despite everything that's been said, she emphasized that she wouldn't want her son's marriage to end.
"Basta ako, ayaw ko silang maghiwalay. Dahil mahal ko ang mga apo ko," she ended her post.

The statement comes a day after Annabelle revealed that Richard has been staying with her for a month now amid the rumors.
While she shared that she hasn't found the time to talk to Sarah, Annabelle addressed blind items seemingly pertaining to her daughter-in-law, saying that Richard has been busy working, while the former has only been busy "wasting money."
Richard and Sarah tied the knot in 2020 after dating for eight years. They have two children together, Zion and Kai, who are currenly living with Richard at the moment.
Rumors of their separation started when eagle-eyed social media users noticed that they haven't been sharing photos of them online and have been spending time with their kids separately. They were last spotted together at Maja and Rambo Nuñez's wedding in Bali, Indonesia.
