Barbie Imperial responds to social media user who pointed out her stretch marks in new photos

Barbie Imperial is proudly embracing her stretch marks.

In an Instagram post on Thursday, May 2, the actress shared photos of herself donning a maroon bikini on a beach with the caption, “[I] could be your favorite girl forever.” 

While most of her Instagram followers complimented her in the comments section, there was one who decided to put the focus on her stretch marks.

“May stretch marks na din [pala] kahit 'di pa nanganak,” an Instagram user wrote.

To which, Barbie responded, “It’s normal,” with a smiley face. 

Other social media users also backed Barbie's response to the IG user.

“Opo, kahit po hindi nanganganak, pwede magkastretchmark,” someone commented. 

“[W]ala 'yan sa nanganak, girl. Dalaga or may asawa, nagkakaroon ng stretch marks,” another one wrote. 

This isn't the first time that Barbie has flaunted her stretch marks. She previously posted about them in 2018 and again in 2022 with the caption: "Ya, I know, it's normal."

In an interview with Preview, the Araw Gabi star revealed that having stretch marks used to be one of her insecurities, but she has learned to see them differently.

“I wanna show people na having stretch marks is not a bad thing, it’s not even a flaw. Stretch marks are normal and they’re actually beautiful,” she said.
