Park Seo Joon reacts to rumors of him dating YouTuber xooos

Park Seo Joon has something to say about the latest tea that involves him.

On Wednesday, the 34-year-old Korean actor briefly addressed the dating rumors circulating about him at the press conference for his upcoming film Concrete Utopia. The rumors claimed that he is dating YouTuber xooos, whose real name is Kim Seo Yeon.

“I actually saw the news late yesterday because I was shooting a new project. My first thought was that the public is showing me a lot of interest and I’m grateful for such interest,’” he said in a video captured by The Korea Herald.

However, the Dream star remained tight-lipped about the matter, saying he does not prefer talking about his private life and asked the public to re-direct their attention to his upcoming film instead. 

“But personally, I find it difficult to be open about my personal life. So I think I can't say much about private matters,” he explained, asking the press and fans to support his new film instead.

This comes after his agency Awesome ENT commented on the issue, saying that they cannot confirm the rumors yet. 

“It is difficult to confirm facts related to our artist’s personal life. We’re sorry. Please kindly understand.” 

Meanwhile, xooos’s agency WAVY also responded saying “it is difficult to confirm” the news.

The rumors surfaced on Tuesday, June 20 after multiple industry insiders reported that the two are currently dating, saying that they met through their close friends.  

Meanwhile, after starring in the sports-dramedy Dream with actress-singer IU, Park Seo Joon is set to star in a disaster-thriller film Concrete Utopia with Park Bo Young. He is also set to appear in a Marvel film coming out this November.
