KC Concepcion grateful for 'silver linings' with Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion
KC Concepcion gave a look at one of her old letters for her mom Sharon Cuneta as she expressed her gratitude for the "silver linings" in their family.
"Sometimes talaga a fairytale will remain as a fairytale na lamang, pero that's okay! Thankful ako sa mga 'silver lining' natin in life," she wrote in an Instagram post on Tuesday, Oct. 24, which contains some throwback photos with her parents.
The local star talked about her mom's upcoming reunion concert with her dad Gabby Concepcion. "Imagine, three days na lang at magsasama na sila Mama and Papa in a musical celebration after so many years. May ganito pa palang pwedeng mangyari!" she wrote.
"Fairytale come true pa rin naman, 'di ba?" she added.
Sharon and Gabby's Dear Heart concert will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena on Oct. 27. They first teased their reunion in late July through an illustration of the silhouettes of a man and a woman who appear to be the veteran stars. While they didn't mention each other's names in their posts, fans speculated that they were set to reunite soon as their relationship bloomed in the 1981 film Dear Heart.
The former couple tied the knot in 1984, three years after the premiere of the said film. They welcomed KC a year later, but got legally separated in 1987. Their marriage was annulled in 1993.
Sharon is now married to former senator Kiko Pangilinan, while Gabby is now with Genevieve Gonzales.
The concert comes five years after they last worked together for a commercial for a fast-food chain in 2018.
