Andi Eigenmann remembers mom Jaclyn Jose on late actress' birthday
Andi Eigenmann remembered her mother Jaclyn Jose on the late veteran actress' birthday, October 21.
Andi posted a throwback photo of her younger self and her mom on Instagram with a white dove emoji as her caption.
Together with their relatives, she also visited Jaclyn's memorial nine days ahead of the late actress’s birthday.
“I feel you always through family,” Andi wrote.
Moreover, she reposted a poem about a child longing for her late mother.
"Just when we were here, I lost her," she captioned the photo.
Likewise, Andi shared a screen capture from Viber, which notified her of Jaclyn's birthday. "Store food and drinking water" appeared to be the actress' last message.
Mary Jane Guck, better known as Jaclyn Jose, passed away last March 2, 2024, due to a myocardial infarction or heart attack. She was 60.
The movie icon's acting career spanned four decades.
She won the Gawad Urian, Luna Awards, and FAMAS Awards for her work. She was also named best actress at the Cannes Film Festival for her role in Brilante Mendoza's Ma' Rosa.
Before passing, she was part of FPJ's Batang Quiapo, portraying the role of Dolores Espinas.
