Max Collins has no qualms about getting liposuction: 'It's okay for women to ask for help'
Max Collins is proud of her body, and even prouder that she has no reservations about letting the public know she has undergone cosmetic surgical procedures like liposuction.
In a recent interview with PUSH, the 33-year-old star clarified the misconception about her slim figure, since, according to her, women "think that it's natural."
"No, I worked for it. I got all the help that I could get," said Collins, who shares five-year-old son Skye with her ex-husband Pancho Magno.
"And it's okay for women to ask for help. Nobody's perfect. It's okay to admit that you're flawed and that you need help," she added.
The actress and model further quelled fears about liposuction. Without saying when she went under the knife, Collins shared that she was asleep the entire time, only waking up when the procedure was done—and "it was gone na, the fat."
Recovery took about two weeks, but according to her, she was already working after just five days.
Aside from liposuctions she's undergone in the past, Collins also shared that she gets a weekly shot that curbs her appetite. She also downs a weight-loss drink.
"I do all of the things I have to do to stay fit. It's really important with my job eh, so it's something na kailangan ko alagaan 'yung katawan ko," Collins said.
Aside from the supplements and cosmetic procedures, Collins added that she makes it a point to eat healthy and work out.
Recently, she opened up about the prevalence of anxiety in the showbiz industry, and her tendency to be anxious.
"I'm always anxious to be in front of the camera and in front of people all the time,” she shared with media during a brand event in October. “But then, I try to find a way to get through."
Collins now juggles her work with co-parenting her son with Magno. The ex-couple got married in December 2017 at a hotel in Pasay City. Three years later, Collins gave birth to their son. In 2023, however, Collins admitted in an interview with Boy Abunda that she and Magno separated during the pandemic. They are now divorced.
