Gazini Ganados is competing in Miss Grand International All Stars
Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados is stepping into her pageant heels again!
Miss Grand International confirmed that the Filipino-Palestinian beauty queen is competing in the first edition of its All Stars competition.
In its description of Ganados, MGI said that she's known for her "striking beauty, commanding stage presence, and inspiring life story."
"Rising to international recognition through the world of pageantry, she has become one of the Philippines' most recognizable beauty queens," it continued.
Ganados, representing Talisay, Cebu, won the Miss Universe Philippines crown in 2019 and went on to represent the country in the 68th Miss Universe, where she finished as a Top 20 semifinalist and won the Best in National Costume award with her Philippine eagle-inspired ensemble. South Africa's Zozibini Tunzi won that year's pageant.
After her beauty pageant stint, the 30-year-old beauty appeared in TV shows like Sanggang-dikit FR and Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre.
Apart from Ganados, other confirmed Pinay candidates in MGI All Stars include Miss International Queen 2022 Fuschia Anne Ravena, Universal Woman 2025 top 13 placer Keylyn Trajano, and Noble Queen of the Universe 2025 Alexia Nuñez.
MGI has also confirmed candidates from different countries like Armenia, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, India, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Romania, Singapore, Thailand, United Kingdom, and Vietnam.
The inaugural pageant will take place on May 30 at the MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand.
According to MGI, the pageant is open to both women and trans women who have distinguished themselves on international pageant stages, yet have not attained the ultimate title.
The winner will be awarded the All Stars Crown along with a hefty prize money valued between $100,000 (P5.9 million) and $1 million (P59.2 million).
In a TikTok live broadcast, Miss Grand International 2025 Emma Tiglao revealed that the $1 million grand prize can only be claimed if the All Stars winner successfully defends her crown by winning three consecutive editions of the All Stars pageant. She also clarified that MGI All Stars is a separate pageant from Miss Grand International.
