Being in the industry for 18 years and counting, OG K-pop group Super Junior has been present for a significant number of years of most Filo ELFs' lives.

Since Super Show 9 is finally happening in Manila on Dec. 17 and 18, it's high time to take a trip down memory lane with their must-listen songs that will help you relieve and relish your years of being an ELF.

These tracks surely prove that Super Junior has always been the "King of Hallyu wave." Without further ado, here are 10 songs you should add to your SuJu playlist now.

Celebrate

Filo ELFs is in for another holiday treat this weekend. Aside from SS9 coming to Manila, the group's first comeback on stage with the song Celebrate will be first heard live in SM Mall of Asia Arena, with a special video featuring Filo ELFs to be uploaded on Super Junior's Official Channels. This track was first released on Dec. 15 and has over half a million views as of writing.

Mango

Sweet just like a mango, Super Junior will swoon you with this funky, tropical track with rhythmical bass and synth sounds. Not only that, its music video features the group dancing to suave choreography. This is one of the group's popular songs on Spotify under their 11th album The Road: Keep on Going.

House party

Released during the quarantine in 2021, House Party talks about how different things were before the pandemic and celebrates the perks of staying at home during the worldwide quarantine. Eunhyuk shared that they aim to send a message of hope to fans going "through this difficult time". World Health Organization director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesusalso commended Super Junior for this song, thanking the group for reminding the public that there is still a need to follow precautionary measures against COVID-19.

SUPER Clap

Proving that this groovy track is indeed one that should be added to your playlist, SUPER Clap took the top spot on Twitter's trending list worldwide upon its release. Do you remember how you danced and got 'lost in the rhythm' with Yesung's high note?

Black suit

Black Suit serves as Donghae, Eunhyuk, and Si-won's comeback tracjk after being discharged from the military in 2017. This jazzy track is thoroughly absorbing for any ELF not only because of its beat but more so, its music video wherein the group looks dapper as suit-wearing performers.

Devil

Devil is the title track of Super Junior's tenth-year anniversary album released on July 16, 2015. While the song's title suggests something wild, it actually sound laid-back and melodic.

This era is extra special since it is when the group collaborated with top Korean artists such as Lee Seung Hwan for the rock ballad song We Can, Jaurim‘s Kim Yoon Ah for Rock n Shine, a hard rock and blues track, Rose Motel for Lofe At First Sight, and Epitone Project for Stars Appear...

MAMACITA

MAMACITA is not only Super Junior's first Latin-inspired track, it is also considered one of their iconic songs as it is their fifth track to reach a hundred million views on YouTube.

This is also their comeback song after a two-year hiatus after Leeteuk and Heechul's military discharge. Apart from its music video, the group also filmed a "drama" version of the song.

Mr. Simple

Who would forget this iconic song? With its upbeat choreography and catchy tune, many Filo ELFs have danced to this track, from their bedrooms to intermission numbers at parties. In fact, it is the group's first music video to reach 200 million views on YouTube.

U marked the start of the group's journey to being the legendary K-Pop OGs, as it landed on the top spot of South Korea’s top music programs and annual music award ceremonies during its release in 2006. Girl Generation's Yoona, the group's labelmate, was also featured in their music video.

Twice (Knock Out)

Any true blue ELF will know what Twice (Knock Out) is. But if you're new to the fandom, this track was the group's debut single back in 2005. And in case you didn't know, the boy group is previously known as Super Junior 05, originally consisting of 12 members.
