Model Paulina Porizkova gets married at 61 to a comedy writer she met on a dating app
It's never too late to find love. Take it from former Czech supermodel Paulina Porizkova, who tied the knot at 61.
On July 3, she exchanged vows with Emmy Award-winning comedy writer Jeff Greenstein at a town hall overlooking Lake Orta in Northern Italy, before celebrating with a reception at the nearby Villa Crespi.
Porizkova donned a silver House of Gilles couture gown by Gilles Mendel, while Greenstein, 63, looked dashing in a dark blue suit.
According to a report by PEOPLE, Porizkova walked down the aisle to a live rendition of Smetana's The Moldau, performed by her sons, Oliver on the violin and Jonathan on the guitar, alongside her stepson Eron, who also played the guitar.
The two met on the dating app Raya in 2023. After matching, they spent months getting to know each other through conversations and FaceTime calls before meeting in person in New York.
“All we did was talk, and then FaceTime, and then have tea on FaceTime which turned to wine on FaceTime which turned into tequila on FaceTime,” Porizkova told PEOPLE, adding that she then invited the writer to see if they got along in person.
Following their first date, Greenstein later moved to New York, and the couple launched the podcast 20 Good Summers, where they discuss love and relationships.
Two years after they met, Greenstein proposed to Porizkova in July 2025.
After tying the knot, the couple plans to cruise around the Greek islands for their honeymoon before returning to New York to search for a new home in Manhattan.
Other than modeling, Porizkova also played roles in 80s and 90s films, including Anna, Thursday, Her Alibi, and Wedding Bell Blues. She was also a judge on America's Next Top Model from 2008 to 2010.
Greenstein also helmed sitcoms Will & Grace, Partners, and Dream On. He's also one of the writers of the series Desperate Housewives, and wrote episodes in the first two seasons of Friends.
Porizkova was married to The Cars frontman Ric Ocasek, who passed away in 2019. Before meeting his wife, Greenstein was in a relationship with actor-comedian Sarah J. Halstead.
