Mimiyuuuh shares her first-ever heartbreak at 26: 'Your girl just got dumped!'
Social media personality Mimiyuuuh got vulnerable in her latest vlog chronicling her first-ever heartbreak at 26 years old.
In the video titled ":( MY FIRST HEARTBREAK STORY :(," the star opened up about ending a relationship just this November and how she's been dealing with the pain.
'Your girl just got dumped!" she first quips, before getting emotional on camera and cracking her Mimiyuuuh-esque mannerisms.
She shared that she met someone through a dating app earlier this year. Their first date was in Tagayay and from the get-go, she felt "safe" and "comfortable" with the person.
"Alam niyo po ba 'pag naging comfortable ako sa isang tao, sobrang clingy ko po talaga. Parang okay talaga dynamic naman, e," she said, adding that they are both Water signs since the man is a Pisces while Mimiyuuuh is a Scorpio.
A few dates later, she learned that the person was set to study in another country, but they still decided to continue their relationship despite the long-distance setup.
"Since nga po na-attach ako sa kanya and I really feel safe with him and he really made me feel special," Mimiyuuuh chronicled before going on a ruminating stare then laughing at herself.
"Hindi mo 'rin malalaman kung magwwork out unless you try it so talagang binigyan namin ng chance."
A few months into the relationship though, they started getting into fights wherein Mimiyuuuh learned how to communicate her needs and feelings to her partner.
She also shared how she expressed that she wanted flowers for her birthday on Nov. 11 when he didn't send him anything, so she was ecstatic to recieve the follow-up gift a day later.
Unfortunately, a few days later, he called it quits via text message when Mimiyuuuh was shooting a campaign in Indonesia.
"Yung message, sabi niya: 'Hi, I think this is not gonna work. Naghahanap lang ako ng tyempo to say this to you..."
Mimiyuuuh began overthinking where they went wrong since her birthday was only a few days prior and they were still talking like normal in the morning. Eventually, she let her tears and emotions fall when she arrived at the hotel.
"This was all new to me, na-overwhelm po ako, nawala apetite ko and actually hindi ko po talaga alam mafe-feel ko sa sinabi niya na he was just waiting for the right timing."
Although the wound remains fresh, Mimiyuuuh gave her fans some words of wisdom on self-love before ending the vlog: "Many people po will make us feel that we are hard to love. And yung mga tao po na nagpa-feel satin na mahirap tayo mahalin, hindi lang po nila alam paano tayo mahalin ng tama."
She also said some kind words to her ex and wished him well in his studies and his other life goals.
"I hope we feel better really, really soon," she concluded.
