Rachel Peters welcomes second child with Migz Villafuerte
Beauty queen Rachel Peters is now a mom of two!
The Miss Universe Philippines 2017 titleholder shared the good news on July 22 by posting a short clip of their firstborn Kaia, who can be seen cradling her new sibling Andres. “Our darling boy is here and our hearts & home are so full of love,” she captioned her Instagram post.
In the video, Rachel asked Kaia how he sleeps and cries, which the latter adorably mimicked. Kaia also expressed her love for the newest member of their family by kissing him on the forehead.
In a separate post, Congressman Migz Villafuerte expressed his gratitude and admiration for his wife. He called her “a champion mom” as he shared photos of their newborn as well as a candid moment of the family.
“Thank you Lord! @rachelpetersx is a champion mom! From 9 months of carrying this little one to smiling and laughing in between pushes,” he wrote.
“You’re the best,” he added. “Excited to be a girl and boy dad now.”
Fans, celebrities, and beauty queens, including Anne Curtis, Nadine Samonte, Katarina Rodriguez, and Shane Tormes poured their celebratory greetings to the couple.
“Oh my Rach they are so cute!!!! Congrats!!!” Nadine said.
“Omg!!! Congratulations Rachel Migz & Kaia!! So precious!” Katarina wrote in the comment section of her post.
Rachel and Migz tied the knot in 2021 after seven years of dating and welcomed their first child in the same year.
The two exchanged vows again at a Bali wedding in 2022.
