Sad news for BTS ARMYs flying to Seoul, South Korea in the coming days: HYBE INSIGHT Museum is taking a hiatus.

On Jan. 15, the museum announced that it is closing its doors on the same day and will soon move from HYBE's Yongsan building in Seoul to an undisclosed location.

"We are closing our HYBE INSIGHT museum at HYBE's Yongsan building as of Jan 15, 2023," the cultural center wrote on Twitter. "We appreciate your support and look forward to welcoming you back soon at a new location with more engaging exhibits. Stay tuned to our Twitter and website for all future updates. Thank you!"

The entertainment company is converting the space to dance studios, production rooms, and other facilities for its expanding lineup of artists.

Launched on May 14, 2021, HYBE INSIGHT has been a must-visit attraction for ARMYs all over the world for its interactive displays and exhibitions where they can learn and connect with the agency's top talent, BTS, among its other artists.

The art complex, located on the two basement floors of HYBE's headquarters, allows visitors to "see, hear, touch, and feel the power of [HYBE's] music and beliefs" through exhibitions themed as "sound," "movement," and "story."

The "Innovative Sound" section provides a deep dive into the company's process of creating songs, such as BTS's 2020 track "ON," with the musical equipment and amenities used by its producers and engineers.

"Dynamic Movement," meanwhile, is an area with three massive displays giving visitors a new perspective on creating the complex yet catchy dance choreography of HYBE artists while "Inspiring Story" illustrates the success journey of HYBE artists through photos and text displays.

In addition, the museum was designed to make visitors "touch" and "smell" the tracks produced by HYBE artists when they touch the speakers and enter a room with a scent inspired by the song "Euphoria" by BTS' Jungkook.

Meanwhlie, the leaders of HYBE's K-pop groups such as RM of BTS and Yuju of GFriend can serve as the visitors' audio tour guide with the use of the museum's guided tour app.

Reservations to HYBE INSIGHT are only booked through the Weverse Shop.

Apart from BTS, the agency is home to bands like Tomorrow X Together, ENHYPEN, Seventeen, GFriend, and NU’EST.
