Gary Valenciano confirms he's in good shape following cryptic tweet about his health

‘Mr. Pure Energy’ Gary Valenciano assured fans that he is in good shape after posting a tweet last night, Dec. 14 asking for a “miraculous touch” that would help him keep the Christmas spirit amid “challenges”. 

The 58-year-old singer-songwriter wrote, "Lord... I'm going to need your miraculous touch to get me through tonight and the next few nights to come. Help me not lose the sense and spirit of Christmas in the middle of all these challenges."

"Kindly help in keeping me healthy at all times Lord," he continued. "Your name Jesus I pray. Amen."

Valenciano did not specify any health condition, which resulted in fans worrying about the seasoned singer and sending him prayers through the comments section of his post.

"I will pray for you too sir, a lot of us will pray for you to have the strength and the courage to get through whatever it is... God is with you," one user commented.

Another one wrote, "Lifting up to the Lord all your pain.May HE heal you."

A day later, on Dec. 15, Valenciano posted abother tweet, assuring his fans that he is okay and on his way to recovery. He also apologized for causing many to panic.

Over the years, Gary V. has had several health scares; he previously suffered and survived tuberculosis and hepatitis. He had also undergone open heart surgery in 2018. He was also diagnosed and cleared with kidney cancer. 

Gary V is also living with type 1 diabetes since he was 14 years old.
