Alodia Gosiengfiao shares Christopher Quimbo's touching reaction to her pregnancy
Alodia Gosiengfiao shared a heartwarming moment when she and her husband Christopher Quimbo found out she’s pregnant with their first child.
Over a week after their pregnancy announcement, the 36-year-old gamer-cosplayer took to Instagram on Sunday, June 23 to share the behind-the-scenes moment when they confirmed their pregnancy.
"The moment we found out," Alodia wrote in the caption.
In the short video, Alodia showed a pregnancy test stick and asked Christopher for help in checking the result.
"Babe I'm not sure what this means. Has it been two minutes?" she said, to which Christopher replied in all smiles, “You’re pregnant.”
"I knew it! Wow, we knew it would happen eventually," he added while sharing giggles with his wife.
Alodia, who appeared to be in disbelief, asked him again to check the result, and Christopher confirmed that there were two lines indicating that it was positive.
She also asked him if he was excited to welcome their first child.
"Excited? I don't know if that’s the right word. I'm like more than excited. I've always felt like I was a dad. But now like coming into my own, you know. I think I was destined for this,” said Christopher.
The couple also shared their guesses on what the gender of their first child would be, with Alodia sharing that she thinks it will be a boy.
Fans and their friends expressed their support and joy for the expectant couple.
“This is too sweeeeet…!! [W]e can feel the emotion! Once again congratulations!!” gamer and cosplayer Larissa Rochefort wrote.
“This is it! Excited for you Senpai [Alodia] and [Christopher Quimbo]!” social media personality Ann Mateo commented.
Host Janeena Chan also commented, “This is so wholesome and sweet!! Aw!! So happy for you both!!!”
Prior to their announcement, the couple seemingly hinted at their pregnancy on June 7, sharing a photo of what appears to be a dragon’s egg.
Alodia and Christopher tied the knot in a grand, fairytale-like ceremony on Valentine's Day in 2023. They got engaged in July 2022, four months after they officially started dating.
