'I was right all along': Ellen Adarna claims Derek Ramsay gaslit her to hide alleged 'side chick'
In another series of Instagram Stories, Ellen Adarna claimed estranged husband Derek Ramsay gaslighted her to disguise his alleged cheating.
On Nov. 17, Adarna answered some questions sent by her followers regarding her revelation about Ramsay's alleged "side chick."
One user asked Adarna if she confronted Ramsay about his supposed cheating.
"No, I did not confront him about this. He just found out here (pointed at her phone screen)...Never talked to him about it. I think the screenshots are enough," said Adarna.
In earlier Stories, Adarna posted several screenshots of what was supposedly a chat between the other woman and Ramsay, which the woman sent to her friend, complaining how Ramsay was not prioritizing her.
"And if he still lies about it, oh my God. Ginaslight na nga ako, don't tell me he's gonna gaslight the whole world. The screenshots are there, the receipts are there," Adarna added.
The estranged couple has apparently been living apart for several months now. According to Adarna, they had an agreement that Ramsay would stay away from their marital home until Adarna's new place is ready for her and their children—Elias, 7 (Adarna's son with actor John Lloyd Cruz), and Liana, 1—to move into.
Adarna added that Ramsay has not apologized and "blames everything and everyone but himself." She said Ramsay has allegedly convinced his friends and other people that the entire controversy is rooted in Adarna's post-partum period of difficulty.
Moreover, she shared that he's convinced an ex-girlfriend put a curse on him, which resulted in Ramsay having a bowl of salt with three heads of garlic on a table.
"During the relationship, in the beginning, I was made to believe that this side chick was just a friend. That's what I felt was not real...So when I found out about it three weeks ago, I felt validated....I was right all along," said Adarna.
"The truth, no matter what, comes out in so many ways," she added.
Adarna also said the other woman had been in Ramsay's life for decades.
Responding to another follower, Adarna said, "According to my reliable sources, mga ex [ni Derek], that side chick has always been there. Like decades na. Nakailang girlfriends na si Derek, nandiyan na siya."
She added, "Side chicks will always be side chicks. They will never be chosen."
Ramsay has not issued a statement as of writing.
