Miss Universe 2023 first runner-up Anntonia Porsild expressed how thrilled she was to hold Team Philippines' placard during the parade at the opening ceremony of the 2025 Southeast Asian Games.

On her Instagram post on Dec.10, the Thai beauty queen shared photos of herself with Pinoy athletes during the parade, wearing a golden custom Thai dress.

"MABUHAY PHILIPPINES. What an incredible honor to be able to hold the Philippines name with so much pride at the opening of this [year's] SEA GAMES 2025," she wrote on her post.

In the carousel post, she added a short video of herself, all smiles, doing a little dance as she held the Philippines placard.

"A country so close to my heart that I love and continues to show so much love and support for me as well," Porsild added. "This moment meant a lot and I wish you all the best in the upcoming games."

Fans and beauty queens, Miss Universe Philippines 2024 fourth runner-up Christi McGarry, and Miss Universe 2025 fourth runner-up Olivia Yace of Côte d'Ivoire expressed their love to Porsild in the post's comments section.

Porsild has been close to the Philippines, especially with pageant fans, since her stint in Miss Universe 2023, where she grew close with PH delegate Michelle Dee at the time, forming the ship name, PorDee. They made the rounds online with their social media posts, which included entertaining mini vlogs and TikTok content.

She last visited the country in January 2024.
