Vlogger Rei Germar now engaged to boyfriend Migy Romulo
Wedding bells are ringing in the distance for content creator Rei Germar and her longtime partner Migy Romulo.
On his Instagram account, Romulo posted a video clip showing the exact moment he asked Germar to be his wife at a beach with a stunning rock formation in the background.
The two could be seen sharing a sweet kiss before Romulo knelt down on one knee and proposed to her with a ring.
Germar covered her mouth in shock before pulling Romulo's face towards her to give him another kiss. She later extended her hand for Romulo to put the ring on her finger.
The pair then shared a tight hug at the end.
"I’m finally engaged to my bestfriend! I wanted to say so much! But my brain was like: kneel kneel kneel!" Romulo said in the caption of his post, which was soundtracked to Ed Sheeran's Perfect.
"Finally flipping the page! What chapter are we on anyway? Well who’s counting? On to the next one with ya," he said in a separate Instagram post that showed pictures of his fiancée flexing her gorgeous engagement ring.
Germar later expressed through her Instagram broadcast channel how happy she was now that she is set to tie the knot with the love of her life.
"Grabe iyak ko sa proposal ni Migy. Now, grabe iyak namin, we can’t believe people share the same giddy happy feeling we’re feeling. I don't have words, but that feeling na other people are genuinely happy for you? Nothing will ever beat that. Having people who are truly, truly happy for you and who will actually cheer for you," she wrote.
"Grabe, sobrang overwhelmed ko. 'Di ma-grasp ng brain ko that people are crying with us, celebrating us. Sorry, 'di ako maka-comment and reply sa lahat ng messages and videos niyo! But please know we are very, very grateful," she added.
Germar also delighted her fans with a picture of herself crying after being showered by love and support.
The vlogger shared that she already had a feeling that Romulo was going to pop the question to her even before the it happened.
Germar, who is known for her beauty, fashion, and travel content, has been in a relationship with Romulo since 2014.
