Janine Gutierrez addresses comment over alleged edited calendar photos
Janine Gutierrez responded to a social media user's comment, claiming that her recent photos are heavily edited.
On Instagram, Janine, who was recently revealed as Asia Brewery Inc.'s calendar girl, calmly responded to a user's comment. She explained why the fan thinks that her photos were edited.
"Grabe pagkakaedit ah. Napakanipis niya sa mga photo niya [pero] nung launching ang taba niya po. Grabe ang photoshop @asiabrewerofficial," the user said.
Janine replied, "[I] can see how this can be confusing! [W]e shot the calendar in October and the launch was in [D]ecember. [I]n those two months, [I] went to [J]apan for the film festival, attended [T]hanksgiving parties for our show, and really took a break from strict diet and workout."
The Kapamilya actress also said that she "take[s] it easy during the holidays" and enjoys her body "in its different shapes."
"You should too!" Janine added.
Earlier this month, ABI announced Janine as its newest calendar girl at a launch held at the Green Sun Hotel in Makati City.
"It's such an honor and I'm so excited. I've been so excited about this day for the past few weeks, the past few months, and to finally share it in person here with you is such a happy moment for me," she told media during the launch.
The liquor brand released various calendars featuring its latest four products: Pacific Sun Hard Iced Tea, Yuzu Highball cocktail, SoJu Bomb, and Leon Extra Strong Beer, showcasing Janine donning different swimsuits.
"[Janine Gutierrez] is here to sweeten your New Year, one month at a time. Cool and a total knockout," ABI wrote in the caption.
Previously, Nadine Lustre was ABI's calendar girl for its Paraiso Beer.
Janine stars in the TV drama-action series Lavender Fields alongside her real-life partner Jericho Rosales, Jodi Sta. Maria, Albert Martinez and Maricel Soriano, among others.
Earlier in September, she walked the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival, where her film Phantosmia, directed by Lav Diaz, premiered.
