BLACKPINK's Lisa drops teaser for new single 'New Woman'

BLACKPINK's Lisa is joining forces with Spanish singer-songwriter Rosalía for a new single titled New Woman.
The teaser showcased Lisa and Rosalía exuding powerful energy as they danced and strutted through an airplane and a subway.
In a separate post, Lisa dropped the official poster for the new single, showcasing her and Rosalía in a captivating shot. Lisa embraced her Motomami persona with a leather jacket and corset, while Rosalía looked effortlessly cool in a pink furry coat.
New Woman is set to release on Friday, Aug. 16, at 8 a.m.
The 27-year-old K-pop star's agency first teased her upcoming single early this month by sharing a video with a caption that read: "fresh face brand new día."
Last June, Lisa officially made her solo comeback through her single, Rockstar. This marks her first individual release since her solo debut three years ago with the album LALISA, featuring hit singles such as Lalisa and Money. It came out in September 2021.
Lisa is part of BLACKPINK, which debuted in 2016 under YG Entertainment. They are famous for their hit songs How You Like That, Kill This Love, Shut Down, and Typa Girl, among others.
Meanwhile, Rosalía has been described as an "atypical pop star" with her genre-bending musical styles. She is known for her hit music, including Beso, BIZCOCHITO, and Con Altura, among others.
