Francine Diaz on cheating rumors with Seth Fedelin: 'Wala akong inahas, wala akong nilandi, wala akong inagaw'

Francine Diaz has broken her silence on the cheating allegations with her current onscreen partner, Andrea Brillantes' ex-boyfriend, Seth Fedelin.

"Wala akong inahas, wala akong nilandi, wala akong inagaw," the young actress said during a live session on her Instagram account on Saturday, Dec. 23.

"Hindi naman ako makapagsalita for myself [during that time] because I was advised na tahimik na lang and that time rin, 'di ko alam how do I defend myself, paano ko ipagtatanggol ang sarili ko, bata pa ako noon," she said, adding that she has recently decided to clear up the issue once and for all.

"Guys, hindi ako nag-live to encourage na i-hate niyo yung tao, to hate Blythe! She's receiving so much hate na ngayon kaya 'wag naman!" she stressed.

This came after cheating rumors surrounding the FranSeth love team resurfaced on social media, which prompted Seth to appeal to social media users to stop bashing Francine as she was, in no way, involved in his previous relationship with Andrea.

"Malaking pakiusap po sa inyo, ‘wag niyo na po idamay si Chin," he said on X. "Kung anong samahan na mayroon kami ni Chin at pamilya niya eh dahil sa pinagtibay kami ng mga kaganapan."

Malicious rumors started to spread about how Andrea confronted Francine in a dressing room during the ASAP Christmas Special in January 2022. Ogie Diaz had a vlog about the issue, wherein his sources told him that the young actress did it to protect her love team with Seth.

Francine's family shared photos of them with Seth in the same month, which made social media users speculate that they spent New Year's Eve together.

Clarifying what really happened, Francine explained that Andrea was also invited when Seth went to her house to apologize for the "dressing room" incident, but Andrea refused to join them.

"'Yung pag punta niya [Seth] sa bahay, 'yon ay para humingi ng tawad, kasi alam niya, alam nila ni Blythe, actually, na wala akong kasalanan. Pumunta sila sa bahay para humingi ng tawad, but si Blythe ay hindi sumama. She was invited, but hindi siya sumama. Kaya nagulat ako kasi bakit ako yung masama? Ako na nga 'yung nadamay, ako pa 'yung naging masama sa kwento," the 19-year-old star said.

"Alam niya na hihingi ng sorry si Seth, and yet ganun 'yung ginawa niya. Wala kayong narining sa akin at all. Nanahimik ako not because tama lahat 'yung sinasabi niyo sakin, nanahimik ako kasi akala ko mas magiging maayos kung tatahimik ako at kung wala kayong maririnig sakin," she added.

"Wala akong inagaw, and stop the hate. Kung ano man ang naging problema nila Blythe and Seth noon, sa kanila 'yun, labas ako doon. Kung ano man ang problema nila ngayon, labas ako doon. Huwag niyo na akong idamay," Francine said on Instagram.

In the same month, Francine's older sister Chantal also spoke up on the issue on X and revealed that Andrea has apologized to Francine in private. According to her, the incident was simply a misunderstanding as Andrea felt that Francine was disrespecting their love team when the latter posted a series of photos with her glam team and Seth on Instagram.

Andrea shut down the accusations that she confronted Francine on Instagram Live, stressing that it never happened.

In the same IG live session, Francine said that everything she does with Seth on-cam is only for work and that they are just being professional with each other.

"At kung ano ang mayroon kami ni Seth ngayon, 'yun yung friendship na pinagtibay kami ng mga nangyari sa amin at kami kasi ay breadwinner," she said. "Ginagawa namin 'yung trabaho namin, ginagawa namin kung ano dapat naming gawin at mayroon kaming pamilya na pinapakain, nandito kami para magtrabaho."

Francine was initially paired with Kyle Echarri, while Seth was originally matched with Andrea. The former was known as "KyCine" while the latter was known as "SethDrea." Their tandems, dubbed the "Gold Squad," were formed when the hit drama series Kadenang Ginto aired in 2018.

Although Francine and Seth have previously worked on several projects together, the crime drama series Dirty Linen, which aired this year, marked their first official onscreen tie-up.
