A tweet by a film critiquing platform has made rounds online after showing a cast list of the upcoming live-action Barbie featuring none other than Filipino comedienne, Rufa Mae Quinto.

The said tweet by the platform Letterboxd shows a screenshot of the upcoming Hollywood film Barbie's details, which includes the synopsis and its cast members. Eagle-eyed fans spotted a familiar name among listed with the likes of Margot Robbie, Will Ferrell, and Ryan Gosling. On the latter part of the list is Quinto tucked between Hari Nef and Scott Evans.

The replies to the tweet were then flooded by Filipinos who recognized the comedienne's name. They soon referenced her famous lines in connection with the Barbie universe.

Another user shared an old photo of Quinto that where she was actually dressed like a Barbie doll.

Meanwhile, another mentioned her signature "todo na 'to, go go go!" lines

Soon enough, Letterboxd caught wind of the replies and clarified that her name was only mistakenly added by their source. Sorry, Rufa Mae stans.

"Rufa Mae Quinto is not in the cast of Barbie. This has now been fixed. Our data is crowd-sourced via TMDb — occasionally there will be a few hiccups. Apologies for any confusion," the platform wrote.

Despite the clarification, fans continued to rally behind their idol, attaching old clips of the actress as her "audition piece."
