Pia Wurtzbach ties the knot with Jeremy Jauncey
The Miss Universe 2015 winner is now a missus!
Pia Wurtzbach has just revealed that she and entrepreneur Jeremy Jauncy finally exchanged wedding vows on March 24 in North Island, an exclusive private island located in Seychelles.
On her Instagram account, the beauty queen shared some glimpses of her intimate beach wedding with Jeremy, her boyfriend of three years and the CEO and founder of Beautiful Destinations, an award-winning creative agency catering to travel brands.
In the video published on May 5, Pia can be seen wearing an elegant sweetheart wedding gown that complements Jeremy's simple attire of a white polo. It's clear from their sweet moments at the sunset-lit beach that the couple is overflowing with love for each other.
The couple's decision to keep their wedding private was earlier hinted at by Pia when a fan asked her for updates on her wedding plans on Twitter in June 2022.
"Absolutely no plans yet," the 33-year-old replied to a comment on her post. "But for sure I want a really private and intimate wedding. Enough of my life is on social media and there are things I wanna keep to myself," Wurtzbach added.
Many of the couples close friends and followers took the time to shower the couple with their heartiest congratulations.
"OMG! Got teary eyed even if it was such a happy video. My bubble thought was 'this marriage will last forever.' Congratulations and best wishes Mr. and Mrs. Jauncey!" actress Ina Raymundo wrote.
"Congratulations Ate P! So much love in this video!" fellow Miss Universe contestant Rabiya Mateo commented.
Pia and Jeremy confirmed their relationship when they were featured on the cover of Philippine Tatler's June 2020 issue.
They were first rumored to be engaged in October 2020, when Jeremy shared an Instagram post with the caption, "Some BIG BD news coming soon." Pia set the record straight and said that the rumors are "not true" through an Instagram Story in January the following year.
Pia and Jeremy officially got engaged in May of last year during their staycation on luxury island Amanpulo in Palawan.
