Michele Gumabao announces engagement to non-showbiz partner Aldo Panlilio
Michele Gumabao is now engaged to her longtime partner Aldo Panlilio.
The Miss Universe Philippines 2020 2nd runner-up and athlete announced her engagement to Aldo in an Instagram post, where she can be seen giving a look at her diamond ring. "8 to ♾️ with you," she wrote in the caption.
Aldo also shared some photos from his marriage proposal to Michele on Instagram. "8/8 celebrating our 8th year and it’s ♾️ with you," he captioned his post.
The couple's friends and followers sent some love to them in the comments section of their posts.
"Congrats love!" Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray commented on Michele's IG carousel.
Miss Grand International 2020 Samantha Bernardo wrote: "Finally! Congrats guys!"
Actor Gab Lagman also commented on Aldo's post, saying, "Congrats brother!"
Social media personality Dani Barretto, meanwhile, left some party popper emojis in the same thread.
Aldo and Michele have been together for eight years.
They are both into sports. Michele is a volleyball star, while Aldo is a basketball player and strength and conditioning coach who owns a gym in the metro.
