The mother of dragons isn’t done conquering the land!

Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke is set to join another universe with the former S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury himself, Samuel L. Jackson; Agent Maria Hill, Cobie Smulders; and, Olivia Colman in the long-awaited Marvel series, Secret Invasion.

In an Instagram post, Emilia penned her excitement as she wrote how “Marvel let (her) in their world” for the first time after the release of her upcoming MCU debut at D23 that will be premiere exclusively on Disney+ in Spring 2023.

Sharing the first official trailer, the actress said she couldn’t believe that she “managed to get words out without dissolving into a fangurl” as she worked side-by-side with her talented co-stars.

Her character in the said series is still unknown as the trailer follow the S.H.I.E.LD. director Nick Fury as he returns to Earth to uncover a plot enacted by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years.

Fans of both the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Game of Thrones are also looking forward to seeing Emilia back on the small screen after the success of the HBO's hit mega-series.

Apart from portraying the role of Daenerys Targaryen in HBO's Game of Thrones, Clarke's film credits include Solo: A Star Wars Story, Terminator Genisys, Me Before You, and Last Christmas.

Secret Invasion is set to be released just before The Marvels arrives in cinemas in July 2023.
