'Bridgerton' star Regé-Jean Page is the 'world's most handsome man,' according to science

With a dashing smile that can flutter hearts in an instant, most would probably agree that "handsome" is an accurate adjective to describe Regé-Jean Page, but it seems that there's now scientific proof to support that argument.

According to British cosmetic surgeon Julian De Silva, the 34-year-old actor who is most known for the historical fiction-romance series Bridgerton got the highest score on physical perfection.

This was done through a digital face-mapping software, in which the results are then analyzed through the Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi. This is an algorithm used to determine the attractiveness of a person by measuring the length and width of their face, and one of the prominent users of the method was Leonardo da Vinci.

Silva found that Page accumulated a score of 93.65% based on the measurement of his forehead, eye position, face shape, nose, lips, and chin.

Explaining the process to the Metro, Silva said, "These brand new computer mapping techniques allow us to solve some of the mysteries of what it is that makes someone physically beautiful and the technology is useful when planning patients’ surgery."

He continued, "Regé won because of his classically beautiful face and gorgeous brown eyes. He had easily the highest score for his eye spacing and the positioning of his eyes also scored highly. His perfectly shaped lips also scored highly and the only mark he got that was slightly lower was for his nose width and length."

The British actor has managed to beat the likes of Chris Hemsworth, who came in second with a score of 93.53% and Michael B. Jordan, who came in third after getting a 93.46% score.

Other handsome faces who followed are:

  • Harry Styles in fourth with a score of 92.30%,
  • England’s World Cup football player Jude Bellingham in fifth with 92.22%,
  • Robert Pattison in sixth with 92.15%,
  • Chris Evans in seventh with 91.9% ,
  • George Clooney in eight with 89.91%,
  • Henry Golding in ninth with 87.98%,
  • and Dwayne Johnson in tenth with 86.07%

Aside from portraying London's most eligible bachelor Simon Basset in Bridgerton, Page has also starred in The Gray Man and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.
