Matteo Guidicelli returns to Harvard Business School for the second time
Matteo Guidicelli returned to Harvard Business School recently to take up another short course.
He gave a peek into his experience in a 30-minute vlog on his YouTube channel documenting his daily activities for the four-day course in Creating Brand Value under Harvard's Executive Education program.
"The first time I came here, [overwhelming]. The second time around, it's a different feeling. It was really cool and more comfortable," said Guidicelli.
He first got into Harvard in 2024.
"You're always afraid to raise your hand, speak, and stuff. You're very intimidated by the people around you," Guidicelli recalled. "The second time around, you're more comfortable. You know the place; you know where to go; you know what to do. You have a better idea of everything."
In his vlog, Guidicelli showed his audience around his room on campus, which was located in the same building he stayed at when he took up another short course earlier in the year.
According to the Harvard Business School website, the course Guidicelli took up requires attending classes for four days on campus and 12 to 15 hours of pre-program work.
Aside from learning from excellent professors, Guidicelli was happy about the fact that he was attending classes with people who shared his mindset and creativity.
"This course is more of the same-minded people like me; more marketing-, more producer-, more artist-side. More creative people are part of the course," he said.
There were almost 40 people attending classes with Guidicelli.
He was also grateful for the connections he formed with people he met in the program—a concert producer in Saudi Arabia, a music producer from Latin America, as well as new contacts in retail and fintech from Los Angeles.
Guidicelli shared his appreciation for the global perspective he gained from attending his classes, which, according to him, sometimes went from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with breaks for lunch and dinner.
"I'll do it all over again. The relationships built here [were] really nice because these are not just, kumbaga, 'network transactional relationships' but these are relationships that will be cherished through the years. I'm grateful and thankful for this opportunity," Guidicelli added.
According to the Harvard Business School website, which now shows information for 2026 classes, the fee for the four-day course Guidicelli took up is US$11,750 (P692,000). It covers tuition, accommodations, program materials, and most meals.
Guidicelli first attended Harvard Business School in 2024. The year before, he received his bachelor's degree in BSBA-Marketing Management from the University of San Jose-Recoletos in Cebu City.
