Miss Universe Philippines National Director Shamcey Supsup penned a sweet message for Philippine bet Celeste Cortesi, just a few days before the 71st edition of the prestigious beauty pageant.

In an Instagram post on Sunday, Jan. 8, Shamcey shared a photo of them along with a solo picture of Celeste. “The Miss Universe fever is definitely on! And I have nothing but love and admiration for our very own Celeste Cortesi,” she began.

“The weeks leading up to the pageant had been tough but through the ups and downs, she has shown bravery, humility, and authenticity,” Shamcey shared, expressing her gratitude to the PH bet for trusting the MUPh team in her journey.

“I have complete faith that you will bring honor and pride to the Philippines,” she wrote, encouraging Celeste’s fans and supporters to keep the beauty queen in their prayers “as she fulfills her destiny.”

“May I present to you… our next Miss Universe!” she concluded her post with the hashtag #Manifesting.

For her part, Celeste replied to her sweet message in the comment section with a “thank you” accompanied by a blue heart emoji. “I have the best team, I am the luckiest.”

The Miss Universe 2022 coronation night is slated for Sunday, Jan. 15 at 9:00 a.m., with Celeste and 85 other delegates vying for the highly coveted crown.

It will be streamed live on A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, Metro Channel, and iWantTFC from the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. Same-day replays will also be available at 10:30 p.m. on the same channels.
