Melai Cantiveros shares photos with Korean actor Lee Seung-Gi
Melai Cantiveros is living every K-drama fangirl's dream!
The comedienne on her TikTok and Instagram accounts shared photos with South Korean actor Lee Seung-Gi in a slideshow video posted on November 1.
"Lee Seung-Gi meets Lee SUNGKI (ako)," she captioned the post.
Seung-Gi will have a special cameo in Melai's upcoming movie titled Ma'am Chief: Shakedown in Seoul.
Aside from Seung-Gi, Melai also penned an appreciation post for Korean actor Do Ji-Han, who is also expected to have a cameo in her film.
"Kamsammidaaa @dojihan for being so good to me when I'm in Korea," she said in her Oct. 30 post.
Ma'am Chief: Shakedown in Seoul is the debut cinema film of PULP Studios that revolves around a police officer who pretends to be a tour guide to catch a fugitive in South Korea. It is set to premiere on November 15 nationwide.
Seung-Gi has starred in multiple successful K-dramas, including My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, A Korean Odyssey, Vagabond, and more.
On Nov. 1, Lee Seung-Gi's agency announced that he and his wife are expecting their first baby.
"We would like to share the news of a precious life that came to Lee Seung Gi's family. Lee Seung Gi is currently cautiously yet gratefully waiting for a new life to be born next year. We hope you will send warm blessings and support to Lee Seung Gi," he said in a statement translated by the Korean outlet Soompi.
Lee Seung-Gi and his wife, Lee Da-In, held their private wedding ceremony on April 7 this year. The couple first went public with their relationship in May 2021.
