'Tale of the Nine Tailed' actor Kim Yong Ji announces marriage
South Korean actress Kim Yong Ji is married!
Kim announced her marriage via an Instagram post, sharing photos from her wedding.
“I’m officially married now. Thank you for all the congratulations," she captioned her post.
In the photos, Kim looks stunning at her outdoor ceremony, wearing a corset-style, off-the-shoulder wedding gown and holding a vibrant red bouquet. Her dogs also add a heartwarming touch to the memorable occasion.
Korean media outlet Star News reported that Kim married a Japanese man who is not part of the entertainment industry.
Among the guests at the wedding were her Tale of the Nine Tailed co-stars Kim Bum, Ryu Kyung-soo, Hwang Hee, and Lee Dong-wook.
Kim Bum shared a photo of their castmates during the wedding, writing, “We have a new family member.”
Citing industry sources, Star News also reported that Kim surprised guests during the wedding reception with a pregnancy announcement, revealing that the couple is expecting a baby girl. The actress has yet to comment on the reports.
Her fans and celebrity friends expressed their well-wishes for the couple in Kim's comment section.
"I love you," Kim Go Eun wrote.
"Congratulations!!!" Arden Cho commented.
"Oh my!!! Yongji so so congratulations!!!!!" Kim So Yeon also commented.
Kim began her career as a freelance model in 2015 before entering the acting industry. She gained wider recognition for her role in the 2018 tvN drama Mr. Sunshine and later appeared in Tale of the Nine Tailed and its sequel, Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938.
