Heart Evangelista and Chiz Escudero celebrated Valentine’s Day and their 9th year as a married couple by renewing their vows at Balesin Island, which also served as her and Chiz’s wedding venue in 2015.

Her mom Cecilie Ongpauco’s presence was deemed extra special at the event. In case you didn’t know, Heart previously revealed that her parents skipped her wedding with Chiz in 2015 as they did not want her to be in a relationship with the politician. In a 2021 vlog, however, Cecilia expressed her support for their love, saying that what she likes about their marriage is he “allows [Heart] to grow, mature on her own.”
Her sister, Cam Ongpauco, was also alongside Heart during the joyous occasion.

Chiz's colleague Grace Poe attended the wedding alongside her husband Neil Llamnzares. During their 2015 wedding, the senator also attended together with other politicians at the time.
