Could this be the reunion LizQuen fans are waiting for?

Liza Soberano teased that she is currently developing a concept for a project together with her former love team Enrique Gil.

Speaking with the media during an event, the actress was asked to confirm Enrqieu's past statement that she had expressed interest in a horror film that he was planning to produce.

"Quen and I were discussing because he is also producing as well and he has already had two successful movies so we're trying to come up with a concept we can do together in the future," Liza said.

"I can't guarantee it is gonna be in the next year because the concept that we're coming up with needs to be fleshed out, to say the least, but it is something new," she continued.

Enrique made his acting comeback in the comedy film I Am Not Big Bird before being followed by the horror film Strange Frequencies: Taiwan Killer Hospital, which was part of the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival.

The local star shared that Soberano is among the actresses he's looking to work with soon now that he's back in the acting scene.

"She’s really busy, but we were talking the other day, and sabi niya she is really interested in my other project, the horror," he said.

"She is really focused on her US career. Dami niya auditions and events doon, but when she comes back, we will talk about the storyboard. She also has a production company na rin sa US side naman," he added. "Eventually, siyempre mag-collab kami."

Liza kickstarted her Hollywood career through the romantic comedy horror film Lisa Frankenstein, and she shared that she has another exciting project coming in soon.

"I'm actually doing a movie in LA. I can't really disclose the details about it yet, but we will go in filming sometime in April," she said.

Aside from that, she is also set to do a local movie in the Philippines, which she hopes will premiere at the end of 2025 or in the early months of 2026.

On whether she'll do a teleserye again, Soberano said, "I definitely am hoping to doing a teleserye. I think it just comes down to the concept. I'm at a stage where I want to try doing all different types of characters, all different types of genres, so I'm just looking for anything that excites me and really kakaiba."

Liza and Enrique's last collaboration together was in the 2020 romantic drama series Make It with You. Afterward, the two hit the pause button on their love team pairing and began exploring individual projects.
