Want to see LANY? Pop band to work behind the counter of popular fast food spot on Oct. 11
American pop band LANY will be working behind the counter of a Jollibee store today, Oct. 11 ahead of their weekend concerts in Bulacan and Cebu.
In an Instagram Story, LANY said they will be at the fast food chain's BGC Triangle Drive branch at 5:00 p.m.
"We will be working behind the counter. Come say hi," the band said with a smiley.
In another Story entry, LANY shared a photo of their members speaking with the media upon their arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
"[G]ood morning manila," the band wrote in a text caption.
LANY's first show will be held at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on Oct. 12, and its next stop will be at the Waterfront Cebu Hotel & Casino on Oct. 13 and 14.
LANY is composed of Paul Klein (vocals/guitar) and Jake Goss (drums). They're known for the hits ILYSB, Super Far, Malibu Nights, Thru These Tears, and dna.
In 2022, LANY held a five-day concert at the Mall of Asia Arena with performances from Filipino singers Zack Tabudlo and Juan Karlos. During the first night of their show, Klein showed some love to Filipino fans, pledging they'll come back to Manila.
"Manila, we love you. Thank you for the perfect night," he said. "We're coming back for the rest of our lives. Next year and next year and next year. We love you. Mahal kita."
LANY also performed in the country several times before in 2017 for Wanderland and in 2019 for their three-day sold-out show.
LANY's latest shows in the Philippines are part of their A Beautiful Blur world tour.
