Alodia Gosiengfiao announces departure from Tier One Entertainment due to misaligned values and vision
Alodia Gosiengfiao is leaving Tier One Entertainment, the company she co-founded.
The cosplayer and gamer announced on Facebook on Nov. 23 that she is bidding the company goodbye as the company's visions and values don't align with hers.
"It is with a heavy heart that I bid Tier One Entertainment farewell. The journey we shared in building the company has been both challenging and rewarding. However, it has become evident that our visions and values are not aligned," she said.
"I am grateful for the experiences, relationships, and accomplishments we’ve achieved together," Alodia followed.
The gaming and esports talent agency, meanwhile, thanked Alodia for her contributions to the company, saying they wouldn't be where they are if it wasn't for Alodia.
"You are an unwavering beacon of excellence, and continue to be an inspiration to cosplayers, content creators, and our industry as a whole," Tier One Entertainment said in the statement.
"We are truly grateful for the time and dedication you have given us over the years. In the Philippines and around the world, you are undeniably one of one. It is essential for everyone to find a place where their values align and their vision can flourish."
"We wish you all the best in your next chapter and hope you find that place, both professionally and within your beautiful growing family," the statement ended.
Alodia founded Tier One Entertainment in 2017 with esports veteran Tryke Gutierrez and entrepreneur Brian Lim. The company manages content creators across its main brand and its streamer collective, AMPLFY. They also manage professional esports teams under its Blacklist International esports label.
In September, Tier One Entertainment launched a new roster of talents, including actress Sharleen San Pedro and Jhanzen Latorre.
