Macaulay Culkin reunites with 'Home Alone' mom Catherine O'Hara

His family may have mistakenly forgotten him at home during Christmastime, but not today.

Macaulay Culkin of the classic films Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York was recognized this week and was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. And with him was his onscreen mom, Catherine O'Hara.

Catherine gave a speech in front of a crowd in Los Angeles and said that the success of Home Alone was because of Macaulay.

"I know you worked really hard, but you made acting look like the most natural thing in the world to do," Catherine continued, choking up as she called Macaulay "the dearest thing."

Catherine went on to commend him for his "sweet and twisted, yet totally relatable" sense of humor that he has possessed since he was young. "It's a sign of intelligence in a child and a key to survival at any age."

"Thank you for including me, your fake mom who left you home alone not once, but twice, to share in this happy occasion," Catherine finished. "I’m so proud of you."

Macaulay, in his speech, paid tribute to his wife Brenda Song, his "champion."

“I’d like to thank Brenda, you’re absolutely everything. You’re my champion, you’re the only person happier for me today than I am. You’re not only the best one I’ve ever known, you’re the best person I’ve ever known. You’ve given me just all my purpose, you’ve given me family and after the birth of our two boys, you’ve become one of my three favorite people,” he said.

Aside from Brenda and Catherine, the event was graced by his siblings Quinn and Rory, friends Paris Jackson and Seth Green, and costar Natasha Lyonne. Macaulay's two sons also made their first public appearance.
