Thai BL actors Newyear Kitiwhut and Both Nuttapong are engaged
From starring as a gay couple in a boys' love (BL) series to turning their love into a reality, these two actors proved that love truly wins.
Thai actors Newyear Kitiwhut and Both Nuttapong delighted their fans with news that they are now engaged after being in a relationship for 11 years.
Newyear revealed the good news through a series of pictures on Instagram showing the two of them embracing each other sweetly. However, the actor hid a delightful surprise at the end as the last picture was of their hands on each other showcasing their beautiful engagement rings.
"Say yes from the first day 13.9," Newyear wrote, indicating that the proposal happened on Sept. 13.
Many of their fans proceeded to shower the comments section with heartwarming messages of support.
"Ahhhh congratulations! Wishing you a lifetime of love together always!" one user wrote.
Another one gushed, "Seriously guys, you two are so beautiful together. Congratulations and always be happy."
Newyear and Both gained prominence for starring in several Thai BL shows, most notably in the 2021 romantic drama series Top Secret Together in which they played a gay couple. After the drama ended, the two of them turned their onscreen romance into a reality and have been dating for 11 years.
The soon-to-be-married sweethearts recently celebrated their 11th anniversary by traveling to London together.
The couple also runs a YouTube channel together, BothNewyear Official, which currently has over 541,000 subscribers.
