Loisa Andalio reflects on motherhood after welcoming first child with Ronnie Alonte: 'This journey humbled us'
New mom Loisa Andalio has opened up about the life-changing experience of motherhood after welcoming her first child with her husband, Ronnie Alonte.
On her Instagram account, the Pinoy Big Brother alum shared several pictures of herself cradling her baby girl, whom they named Runi Lior.
"This journey humbled us in the most beautiful way. It taught us to slow down, to trust the process, and to trust in God’s perfect timing. Every little kick and every tiny heartbeat reminded us that a beautiful life was growing inside—a love we were so close to finally meeting, holding in our arms, and cherishing for the rest of our lives," she wrote.
"Even before we saw your face, we already loved you so much. And now that you are finally here, words still cannot fully explain what our hearts feel. It’s a love deeper than we ever imagined…the kind that changes you forever," she added.
Andalio went on to honor fellow mothers out there for their strength and sacrifices.
"Three days into motherhood, and I am already feeling emotions I cannot even put into words….overwhelming love, gratitude, awe, and even a little fear because this love is so big. To all the mothers out there, I see you, and I honor you. Now I understand the strength, sacrifice, and unconditional love that [come] with being a mom," she highlighted.
She then expressed her gratitude towards Alonte for being her "strength" through it all.
"You held my hand through every moment, and I could not have done this without you. Walking through this journey with you made me love you even more deeply. Seeing you become a father is one of the most beautiful things I have ever witnessed," Andalio said.
She ended her message with a sweet message for her baby girl: "You are the most beautiful gift God has given us. We promise to love you endlessly, protect you, guide you, and pray for you every single day. We promise to give you a life filled with love, faith, and beautiful memories, and a home where you will always feel safe and deeply loved."
Andalio and Alonte welcomed Runi Lior in early March. In February, the couple hosted a gender reveal party attended by celebrity guests and family. The child was announced to be a baby girl as Alonte unveiled big pink letters spelling her name.
Andalio and Alonte announced their engagement on Nov. 21 and tied the knot less than a week later.
