‘We said yes!’: Rebel Wilson announces engagement to girlfriend Ramona Agruma
Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma are engaged!
The Pitch Perfect star excitedly shared the news on Instagram on Monday, Feb. 20 (Philippine time). In their loved-up snaps, they can be seen showing off the lovely ring and sharing a kiss in matching sweaters at Disneyland.
“We said YES!” she captioned her post, thanking jewelry brand Tiffany and Co. for the ring as well as Disney CEO Bob Iger and his team “for pulling off this magical surprise.”
It’s worth noting that the actress mentioned Disney when she came out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community and introduced her girlfriend back in June. “I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess,” she wrote in her IG announcement at the time, accompanying it with the hashtag #loveislove.
The couple was rumored to have gotten engaged in November, but Rebel later denied the reports.
In the same month, Rebel announced that she welcomed her daughter Royce Lillian via surrogate. “You hold the baby and cut the umbilical cord and literally from that moment on, it was just amazing and so emotional,” she said in an interview on Today.
For her part, Ramona said that having Royce Lillian changed her priorities in life. “You start thinking about someone else instead of yourself. Priorities change, when you think like, ‘Oh, I wish I would go have a massage or something.’ Like no, I just want to spend time with her and be at home.”
According to reports, Rebel and Ramona have been together for less than a year.
