BLACKPINK's Lisa is leading an upcoming romantic comedy on Netflix, inspired by the 1999 hit film Notting Hill.

The streaming platform announced Friday, Feb. 6, that the K-pop superstar will star in the upcoming feature film, written by Set It Up and Booksmart screenwriter Katie Silberman.

The upcoming film will be executive produced by David Bernad, who previously worked on The White Lotus Season 3, where the K-Pop star made her acting debut as Mook.

Details about the plot are still under wraps, but according to a Deadline report, insiders said that Bernad and Lisa created the concept while working on The White Lotus, where they bonded over their mutual interest in the 1999 romantic comedy Notting Hill, starring Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant.

Apart from this, Lisa is also playing a major role in another Netflix film, Tygo. She will star alongside Korean action star Don Lee and Lee Jin Uk.
