'It's Okay to Not Be Okay' stars Kim Soo-hyun, Oh Jung-se to reunite in new drama
Did you miss the tandem of Kim Soo-hyun and Oh Jung-se? Here's some good news: You will see them together again in a new drama!
In the teaser photos posted by tvN on Instagram on Saturday, March 9, Oh Jung-se is confirmed to be making a special appearance in the new drama, Queen of Tears, starring Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Jim-won.
Jung-se will play the role of the psychiatrist of Baek Hyun-woo (Kim Soo-hyun), who wears a black hoodie and sunglasses to avoid being caught that he is seeing the mental health expert.
The two became known for their roles in the 2020 drama It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, where Kim Soo Hyun played Gang Tae, a kind man who takes care of his elder brother with autism, Sang Tae (portrayed by Oh Jung Se).
Queen of Tears follows the “miraculous, thrilling, and humorous love story” of a married couple after surviving crisis, according to K-entertainment site Soompi. It was written by Park Ji Eun, who helmed hit K-dramas Crash Landing on You, My Love From the Star, and The Producers. It's set to premiere on March 9 at 9:10 p.m. (KST).
