Miss seeing Celine Dion onstage?

The Grammy award-winning singer is expected to make a comeback at the upcoming Paris Olympic Games, marking her first performance since she was diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome.

Variety exclusively reported that the iconic pop legend will take the stage during the opening ceremony on Friday, July 26.

According to the media outlet, Celine arrived in Paris on Monday, July 22 at the Royal Monceau hotel. Further details about her scheduled performance are yet to be announced.

The Canadian singer hinted at her potential comeback in an interview with Vogue France last April but noted it would still depend on her condition.

"As things stand, I can't stand here and say to you: 'Yes, in four months.' I don't know," she said when asked about the possibility of seeing her onstage again. "My body will tell me. On the other hand, I don't just want to wait."

At the time, she also said she's working with a team of medical professionals to ensure she's in the best possible shape to once again visit the Eiffel Tower.

"I’ve chosen to work with all my body and soul, from head to toe, with a medical team. I want to be the best I can be. My goal is to see the Eiffel Tower again!" she shared.

Celine disclosed in December 2022 that she has been diagnosed with stiff person syndrome, which is "a rare, progressive syndrome that affects the nervous system, specifically the brain and spinal cord," according to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. It causes muscle stiffness as well as spasms, normally between the ages of 30 and 60. The symptoms can remain stable in some cases but could get progressively worse in others.

She had to cancel a string of shows scheduled for 2023 and 2024 as she said she was not strong enough to tour.

In June this year, Prime Video released a documentary dubbed I Am Celine, which gives viewers a "raw and honest behind-the-scenes look" at her struggles with stiff person syndrome.
