P-pop history is about to be made as the biggest and up-and-coming local acts will meet their fans at the PPOP Convention.

The two-day PPOP Convention is a celebration of the growing P-pop industry as it showcases the best of what the local music scene is about to offer. Aside from the exciting fan-dedicated events, groups like SB19, BINI, BGYO, MNL48, and more will finally meet their fans at the Big Dome on the second day.

Want to get into the P-pop groups who will perform in the event? Don’t worry, this fangirl guide has got you covered.

SB19

Dubbed as the “P-pop Kings,” SB19 has made history not only in the P-pop scene but also in the global music industry. The boy group debuted as a quintet with Josh, Pablo, Stell, Ken, and Justin in 2018.

The five-member group is the first local and Southeast Asian act to be nominated in the Top Social Artist category of the Billboard Music Awards. They are also the first Southeast Asian act to climb at the top of the Billboard’s Hot Trending chart. With a slew of achievements under their belt, there’s no way for them to go but up.

The girl group is about interacting with their fans as well with exciting theater performances, handshake events, local and international events, and more.
