Catriona Gray, Sam Milby spotted cozying up to one another amid relationship challenges
Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and her fiancé Sam Milby, who were said to be facing challenges in their relationship in February, were spotted together at the birthday party of Cornerstone Entertainment's president Erickson Raymundo in Pampanga.
On Instagram, entrepreneur Pinky Tobiano shared some snaps of the two, which showed them cozying up to one another as the beauty queen appeared to be leaning on the actor, who had his hand on her back.
Moreover, one IG reel also posted by Pinky showed Catriona and Sam mingling with each other, with the former touching the latter's face and looking surprised when the camera panned on them.
"The heat won't stop [this] sweet couple Cat & Sam, and we are all here to celebrate Erickson's bday," the caption read.
This is not the first time the two were seen together amidst their breakup rumor.
Last March, Catriona and Sam were spotted with fellow celebrity couple Isabel Oli and John Prats in a game of paddle ball. This comes after the couple's agency, Cornerstone Entertainment, confirmed that they are "facing some challenges in their relationship."
Likewise, the two also attended an industry event supporting Isabel. Sam and Cat seated beside each other while the former wrapped her arm around Isabel.
Rumors have been circulating about the split of the engaged couple after some eagle-eyed social media users noticed that the beauty queen wasn't wearing her engagement ring in her recent photos.
However, Cat immediately shut down those speculations over an IG post with her dogs, tagging her partner Sam, seemingly putting speculations to rest.
Meanwhile, entertainment reporter Ogie Diaz claimed in his vlog that the couple had split but remained friends, as per his anonymous source.
"Wala na sila. Noong birthday ni Catriona Gray wala na sila, pero magkaibigan na lamang daw," said the talent manager, highlighting that he will only believe this if the couple confirms it themselves.
