Kathryn Bernardo on turning 28: 'My happiest birthday to date'

Kathryn Bernardo shared a compilation of clips taken during her 28th birthday celebration as she thanked her nearest and dearest for making it her "happiest" one to date.

The actress posted her birthday video made by her good friend, Goin' Bulilit co-star John Manalo on Instagram on Thursday, March 28. "What a day!" she wrote in the caption. "Keeping these moments in my core memory forever."

She went on to express her gratitude to those who marked her special day with her. "Thank you for making this my happiest birthday to date."

"Cheers to 28!" she continued.

Kathryn turned another year older on Tuesday, March 26. She celebrated her 28th birthday in El Nido, Palawan with her loved ones, including her friends in the entertainment industry.

Among the familiar faces who were spotted at her recently concluded party were Alden Richards, Jericho Rosales, fashion designer Mark Bumgarner, Maymay Entrata, Joshua Garcia, Miles Ocampo, and Alora Sasam.

Her ex-boyfriend Daniel Padilla was not seen at the party, though he made sure to greet Kathryn on her birthday by posting what appeared to be a highly pixelated image of them at exactly midnight. He included a sunflower emoji and Japanese text that translates to "Happy Birthday to you" over it.
