Sharon Cuneta undergoes physical therapy amid leg pain for over a month: 'I still haven't stopped limping'
Sharon Cuneta revealed she underwent therapy sessions for her leg pain which she has been suffering for over a month now.
The Megastar recently took to Instagram to share her latest health update.
“Just thought you might want me to update you, I've done two sessions with my physical therapist, plus acupuncture [and] cupping,” she shared.
She further expressed her regret for missing Pops Fernadez’s Always Loved concert last Feb. 9 and 10 due to her condition.
"I still haven't stopped limping. Ayoko naman po magpakita sa lahat na umiika-ika pa rin,” she lamented, noting that she only went outside to pay her respects for ABS-CBN's Dreamscape Entertainment head Deo Endrinal who passed away on Feb. 3, and when she went on a dinner with the Sotto family.
Despite her condition, the veteran singer-actress assured her followers not to worry, and that she enjoys being confined in her home for the time being especially since she’s an “introvert.”
"Every single day for longer than a whole month now, I have been in pain. Baka po mag-alala kayo, please don't worry! Basta tuloy lang ang PT (physical therapy) lilipas din ito. Chaka introvert ako kaya masaya ako na may love affair ako with a bed, hot water bags at laptop ko (di mabubuhay ng walang WI-FI! At kundi kailangan ayoko talaga sa phone ko!) Buti na rin nakakapagpahinga ulit. I hope you're all okay and I miss you," she said.
Cuneta also added that she “feels good” amid her social media detox, and then asked her fans to take care and include her in their prayers.
Fans and celebrities, including Pops Fernandez and Coney Reyes, extended their messages of support for the actress.
The Megastar first opened up about her leg pain earlier this month.
“It has nothing to do with bone or muscle. It’s nerve. So I need to do physical therapy. I’m still limping,” she said in her previous interview with ABS-CBN News. “My meds have been up. But thank God it’s nothing worse than that.”
Prior to this, she had her Dear Heart reunion concert with former reel and real-life partner Gabby Concepcion in October 2023. She also had an MMFF entry dubbed Family of Two which she co-starred with Alden Richards.
