NewJeans teams up with 'The Powerpuff Girls' on second album to be released in July
Get ready to groove to fresh bop music once again, Filo BUNNIES, as NewJeans is about to release their second album this July.
The K-pop girl group's agency ADOR dropped the news on WeVerse on Monday, June 19, revealing that the new album will be titled Get Up. It will feature six songs: Super Shy, ETA, Cool With You, New Jeans, Get Up, and ASAP, with the first three being the EP's lead tracks.
Each of the songs will have its own music video, but what makes this album even more exciting for BUNNIES is that it will feature a collaboration with Warner Bros.'s popular American animated show The Powerpuff Girls.
The K-pop rookie teamed up with the studio for the music video of their song New Jeans, which will be released on July 7, two weeks ahead of their new album's debut. According to ADOR, this adorable tie-up is part of the famous cartoon show's celebration of its 25th anniversary on Nov. 17.
After New Jeans, the group is set to release the album's second title track, Super Shy, ahead of the album's official release.

This is not the first time NewJeans is treating fans to an album with three main tracks. The first was with their first EP, Attention, which was released in August of last year. It came with three lead songs: Attention, Hype Boy, and Cookie.
NewJeans consists of Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein and was launched at the same time as their first EP by ADOR, a new music label under HYBE.
They are best known for their hit tracks Hype Boy, Ditto, and OMG, in addition to winning rookie awards and Performance of the Year award in last December's Asia Artist Awards in Nagoya, Japan.
